The property is nestled on a hillside in the countryside, a 7-minute drive \/ 20-minute walk from the pretty village of Bre, where guests will find two restaurants: Salotto BR\u00c8 Restaurant in the town centre and Grotto Castagneto located in the woods. During the opening hours of the funicular (a 30-minute walk), there are two other restaurants with panoramic terraces: Vetta Restaurant and Osteria Funicolare at the Vetta del Monte Br\u00e8.<\/p>\n
Please note that there are no grocery stores in the village, so we recommend shopping before continuing up to the accommodation. The nearest supermarkets are located at the foot of the mountain in Cassarate and Viganello. Lake Lugano, Parco Ciani, and lakeside attractions can all be reached within a 20-minute drive, while Lido San Domenico, Lido de Lugano and San Michele Park are approximately 20 minutes away by car.<\/p>\n
There are countless possibilities for walks and excursions in the area. The hike up to Monte Boglia is just 10 minutes, whilst the descent to both Parco Ciani in Lugano and Gandria is 2 hours. The village of Br\u00e8 is also known for its artistic furniture in the core of the village, with 20 works of art by international artists. In the church of San Simone and San Fedele, you can admire the frescoes by Joseph Bir\u00f2, a famous Hungarian artist.<\/p>\n
