With the lake and the city centre just a 10-minute drive away, this mountain-view holiday retreat gives you the perfect opportunity to unwind and explore Lake Lugano and its stunning surroundings. The three-bedroom villa for 6 enjoys a fantastic location with proximity to all essential self-catering amenities and the vibrant downtown Lugano.

Outside, guests have access to a sun-washed private garden, open-air dining and BBQ. Meanwhile, inside, the modern, two-level villa is equipped with a bright living room with leather sofa seating, a wooden dining table, a Smart TV, a library and Wi-Fi. This is complemented by a fully-equipped kitchen with a breakfast table to make sure you have everything for a comfortable self-serviced holiday. A dishwasher, microwave, fridge with a freezer, a toaster, and a Nespresso and filter coffee machine are available for your use. BBQ is present too.

This flexible retreat also has a laptop-friendly workplace.

Within a 10-minute drive, you can reach the sun-soaked Lido di San Domenico to enjoy the refreshing waters of Lake Lugano. After refreshing and enjoying the lakeshore, you can also discover the several historic buildings and museums of national significance that make Lugano famous among travellers. In fact, in Lugano, you will find the perfect combination of history and nature. The funicular to Monte Brè and San Salvatore (both 15-20 minutes drive) also goes from this millennial city, and on these towering peaks, you can enjoy trekking, sunny terraced restaurants and even visit the picturesque lakeside village of Gandria (from Monte Brè).

For active vacations, Lugano boasts almost 300 km of cyclable paths to enjoy as well as the Sentiero dell’ Olivo hiking trail taking you through its various hidden spots. For lovers of nature, Lugano has several parks to relax in and admire the exotic flora, like Tassino Park and the centrally-located Parco Ciani. Guests can also visit the Swiss Miniatur attraction within a short 20-minute drive from the holiday villa. Milan Malpensa is the nearest international airport, approximately a 1 hour and 10 minutes drive from this holiday home in Lugano. Restaurants and supermarkets are located within a 10-minute walking radius.
