This elegant, second-floor apartment in the heart of Lugano is an ideal base, whether you are staying for business or for a relaxing city break.
The modern apartment sleeps 5 people in comfort. The contemporary décor creates a calm and luxurious atmosphere. The open-plan living/dining area is furnished with a sofa, armchair, coffee table and a flat-screen TV. Standort
Even if you are in Lugano for business there are plenty of distractions for you to enjoy during your free time. For holidaymakers, the options are endless. This apartment is in the historical centre of the city, which makes it ideal for exploring many of the sites on foot and enjoying its variety of attractions.
In the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, Lugano combines the best of both cultures. This heritage is celebrated at MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (10-minute walk). The city hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer.
A day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must, as is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake. Another favourite is Piazza della Riforma (2-minute walk), the heart of the city. It is a beautiful square lined with excellent restaurants and cafés.
For self-catering, there are many excellent food shops in the city, as well as the farmers market on Tuesday and Friday in Via Carducci (5 minutes walk).
The closest international airports are in Italy – Milan Malpensa 1 hour away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 15 minute journey.
