A stylish, light-filled apartment in the heart of Lugano.

On the second floor of a smart residence, this 1 bedroom flat sleeps 4 people. A sunny, homely flat, this is the perfect place to stay for either a family holiday, or a working trip, to the beautiful city of Lugano, in the heart of the Swiss-Italian lakes.

The rooms all lead off a spacious entrance hallway. The bright living room is on the corner of the building, so has large windows on two sides plus a glass door, leading onto a balcony overlooking the street. There is a contemporary, leather-finish sofa (which converts into a double bed), a large Smart TV and a contemporary dining table with 4 chairs. It is an ideal space to relax with family or friends.

The fully-equipped, fitted, kitchen has everything you might need for your stay: an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and even a Nespresso machine. A large glass door leads out onto another balcony.

Bedroom: The bright bedroom has a comfortable double bed, stylish storage, a large desk and chair, which can be used as a work station.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.

Right next door to the bedroom, this spacious tiled bathroom has a glass shower, large basin, bidet and WC.

Standort
The apartment is situated in the middle of Lugano, just a 5 minute walk from the lakeside and 8 minutes from the central square, the Piazza della Riforma.

The city of Lugano combines the very best of Switzerland and Italy. It is known for its rich cultural heritage, picture perfect streets and stunning natural setting. There are many excellent restaurants and cafés where you can sample the local cuisine and wines. One of the best known is the Grand Café al Porto, founded in 1803 and still going strong. A day trip on the Lago di Lugano sailing between Switzerland and Italy is not be missed. For magnificent views out over the city, lakes and mountains take the funicular railway up to Monte San Salvatore (about 25mins from the apartment). You can discover the city’s cultural life through its many museums and cultural events. There are regular music and gastronomic festivals throughout the year.

The closest international airports are in Italy – Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20 minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 12 minute walk from the apartment.
