This light and airy, 5th-floor apartment (with a lift) is part of a newly built development and comfortably sleeps 4 guests. The property enjoys a sunny terrace with views across the rooftops to the mountains beyond. Furnished with a dining table and four chairs. this is the ideal spot for leisurely lunches or family dinners.
Opening directly onto the terrace through floor-to-ceiling, glass sliding doors, the contemporary, open-plan living space incorporates both the kitchen and dining room. This area has been furnished with a comfortable sofa bed, a coffee table, a flat-screen HDTV and a dining table for four. Situated on the borders of Switzerland and Italy, between Lakes Maggiore and Como, Lugano has a rich cultural heritage. For art lovers, MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) is an 8-minute drive away and for literature fans, Montagnola, the home to the museum dedicated to Nobel Prize-winning author Hermann Hesse is a 12-minute drive away.
A day trip on the Lake, sailing between Switzerland and Italy is a must, as is an aperitivo in the city’s main square and historic centre, Piazza della Riforma (a 20-minute walk).
Lido San Domenico and the Olive Grove trail ending in the picturesque village of Gandria are approximately a 12-minute drive away and the lakeside, with its famous promenade and Parco Ciani (considered one of the most beautiful parks in Switzerland) are both a 20-minute walk from the property.
