A charming rustic house in the heart of the medieval village of Sigirino, with narrow streets and stone houses, this idyllic retreat makes a great base to explore the surrounding mountains and lakes.

Tucked away on a quiet pedestrian street, this pretty house sleeps 4 people. The living room has cool terracotta tiled floors and wooden paneled ceilings. It is furnished with cane armchairs and a wooden cabinet. Around the corner is an open-plan kitchen and dining area, with a cosy, wood-burning stove and a table for 4. The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge-freezer, toaster, fondue set and a Nespresso machine.

Outside the front door, there is a table and chairs for al fresco dining or just relaxing and enjoying the picturesque surroundings.

The house is just 20 minutes from central Lugano and all its attractions. There is so much to see including MASI, The Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland. There are many delicious restaurants and cafés where you can enjoy the best of Italian and Swiss cuisines.

Sigirino is surrounded by beautiful countryside with hiking, mountain biking and climbing options all close by.

The closest international airport is in Italy – Milan Malpensa 1 hour 10 minutes by car.
