This contemporary 1st floor apartment is halfway between Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano. One of 4 apartments, in a modern residence, with a shared indoor pool and a private balcony, it is the perfect option for family or friends who want to relax and explore this beautiful part of southern Switzerland.

The apartment sleeps 4 people and the owners have made sure that guests will find everything they need for a comfortable stay. The corner living area is full of light thanks to 2 large glass doors that lead out onto the spacious balcony. Here guests can enjoy meals al fresco or simply have a cup of coffee and take in their stunning surroundings.

Back inside, the living room is furnished with two comfortable leather sofas, a flat-screen TV and a dining table with 4 chairs. There is a second living room/office which also has French windows onto the balcony. This room has a desk for guests who need to keep in touch with the office and a sofa.

The separate kitchen is well-equipped with fitted units, a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, toaster and a Nespresso coffee machine.

The residence has a lovely indoor swimming pool which has sun loungers and chairs for guests to relax after a swim. The pool area has a shower, changing rooms and a sauna. There are glass doors that lead out to another balcony for sunbathing outdoors.

Bedroom: The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and an en suite bathroom. Glass doors lead out onto the balcony.
Extra: The sofa bed in the living room/office converts into a second double bed. This room also has an en suite WC.

Localisation
This lovely property is on the Swiss side of the border, just a few minutes from Italy.
It is 10 minutes from the town of Ponte Tresa on Lake Lugano, where guests can jump on a ferry at the terminal and enjoy a day out on the water, to appreciate the beauty of the area. For more active guests who want to get even closer to the water, there is a pristine swimming area, the Lido di Caslano (16 minutes drive). Monte Caslano (17 minutes drive) is well-known for its hiking routes with glorious lake views. An absolute must for children is a visit to the Alprose Chocolate Experience and factory shop (13 minutes).

10 minutes to the west of the property, over the Italian border, is the town of Luino on Lake Maggiore. Here you will find supermarkets and all the amenities you might need for an easy holiday. For the best local produce head to Lavena Ponte Tresa, (13 minutes) which is the Italian part of the town. Every Saturday the town hosts a large market selling everything from cheese and vegetables to leather goods, clothes and kitchen utensils

The closest international airports are in Italy – Milan Malpensa 1 hour, 11 minutes by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 45 minute journey.
