In the heart of Lugano, this contemporary apartment for 4 people makes the ideal base for a work trip or city break, in the glorious Swiss-Italian Lakes.

On the ground floor of an elegant residence, the apartment is modern and sleek. It has been thoughtfully equipped with anything a guest might need for their stay. The living/dining room has pale wooden floors and contemporary furniture including a sofa, flat-screen TV and dining table. The separate kitchen is linked to the dining area by a convenient hatch, making serving meals a breeze. The kitchen has a cooker hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and a coffee machine.

Bedroom: The cosy bedroom has a single bed with a second, pull-out, single bed, a wardrobe and an en suite bathroom.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.

Localisation
The apartment could not be more central, it is just a 5-minute walk from the lake shore and 12 minutes from the Piazza della Riforma.

On the border of Switzerland and Italy, the city of Lugano is known for its stunning location, rich cultural heritage and excellent restaurants and cafés. The city hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer. MASI (the Museum of Art Of Italian Switzerland) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. A day trip on the Lago di Lugano, sailing between Switzerland and Italy is a must, as is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake.

For self-catering, there are many excellent food shops in the city, as well as the farmers market on Tuesday and Friday in Via Carducci (8-minute walk).

The closest international airports are in Italy – Milan Malpensa 1 hour away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20 minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is just 7 minutes by taxi from the apartment.
