On the third floor of an elegant apartment block, with a lift, this 2-bedroom flat sleeps 6 people. The wooden-floored, modern apartment is arranged around a spacious entrance hallway. The bright living room has a large window and a glass door, leading onto a balcony overlooking the street. The balcony has a table and chairs, for guests to relax and enjoy an aperitivo. Back inside in the living room, there is a comfortable sofa (which converts into a double bed), a large Smart TV and a contemporary dining table with 6 chairs. It is an ideal space to relax with friends or family.

The fully-equipped, sleek, modern, kitchen has everything you might need for your stay: an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a Nespresso machine. A large glass door leads out onto another balcony.

Bedroom 2: This sunny room has 2 Single beds with a large fitted wardrobe and drawers.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.

Localisation
The apartment is situated in the middle of Lugano, just a 5-minute walk from the lakeside and 8 minutes from the central square, the Piazza della Riforma.

The city of Lugano is famous for its stunning location, rich cultural heritage and excellent restaurants and cafés. The city hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer. MASI (the Museum of Art Of Italian Switzerland) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. A day trip on the Lago di Lugano, sailing between Switzerland and Italy is a must, as is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake.

For inspiration, for guests who want to self-cater, head to the farmers’ market (Tuesdays and Fridays) in Via Carducci (5 minutes walk). It is the ideal place to go to pick up the best local ingredients.

The closest international airports are in Italy – Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20-minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 12-minute walk from the apartment.
