On the 1st floor, the charming living and dining rooms both open onto a delightful balcony. Here, guests can unwind with a book or relax with an aperitif and enjoy the incredible mountain views. Casa Nido – Panoramica is situated in the village of Aldesago in the hills above Lugano. The property is accessed by a steep, winding road or the funicular of Aldesago, which is conveniently located a 5-10-minute walk away. The funicular also takes visitors to the terraced restaurants and heavenly views at the summit of Monte Bre.

The centre of Lugano, with Parco Ciani, the iconic Piazza della Riforma, Trenino Turistico and Lugano’s casino is just a 12-minute drive. However, for those who want to unwind away from the crowds, Lido San Domenico and the Olive Grove trail for lakeside hiking are also a 10-minute drive.

For day trips, guests can head to Montagnola (a 22-minute drive) and visit the Hermann Hesse Museum. Guests can also visit the prettiest village in Switzerland, Morcote (a 30-minute drive). Guests are also within easy reach of Lugano’s Golf club (a 25-minute drive)

The closest international airport is Milan Malpensa, approximately a one-hour drive from the property.
