These two neighbouring apartments are the perfect holiday option for families or friends who want to holiday together but also want some independence or privacy. The house is made up of 2 separate apartments and each sleeps 4 people. High on the hillside, with glorious views over the valley to the mountains beyond, it is an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful part of Switzerland.

The ground-floor apartment is well-appointed with everything guests need for a comfortable holiday. The cosy living room is furnished with a bed, mirrored wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and an open fireplace. A step leads into the separate kitchen. The kitchen/diner is fitted with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine and a fridge/freezer. The dining table in the kitchen seats 4 people.

On the first floor, the open-plan living space is furnished with a contemporary sofa, a flat-screen TV, a neat dining table with 4 chairs and a sunny, bright yellow kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and fridge/freezer. A glass door leads out from the living area to a private balcony.

Bedroom 1: This spacious, ground-floor bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and an en suite bathroom.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.
Bedroom 2: The airy bedroom on the first floor is furnished with a double bed and extensive wardrobes. A glass door leads out to a private balcony with stunning views.
Bedroom 3: A cosy, first-floor bedroom with a bunk bed and a private balcony.

Location
The house is in the small town of Cademario which is the gateway to Malcantone (6 minutes), a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. It is ideally placed for guests looking for an active and exciting holiday in this beautiful region. Lake Lugano is just a 20-minute drive. The Lido di Agno (22 minutes) is an ideal spot for kayaking and swimming in the clear lake.

Guests will find a selection of supermarkets in the town of Agno (20 minutes). For the freshest local produce head to the farmers market, which takes place Tuesday and Friday mornings in central Lugano (30 minutes)

Lugano is packed with things to see including MASI, The Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland, which hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. There are many delicious restaurants and cafés where you can enjoy the best of Italian and Swiss cuisines.

The closest international airports are in Italy; Milan Malpensa 1 hour 25 minutes by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 45 minute journey.
