The apartment is tucked away close to the Italian border between the picturesque village of Bissone and the unique Italian enclave of Campione d’Italia (both a 15-minute walk/2-minute drive away). Once home to the baroque architect Francesco Borromini, Bissone has a rich heritage with colourful lakeside houses, historic arcades and a public Lido. In Campione d’Italia guests will find the iconic Casinò di Campione (a 2-minute walk) and the 14th-century Sanctuary of Santa Maria dei Ghirli (a 2-minute walk).

The holiday escape is also a great base for exploring the wider region. Visitors can visit the Swissminiatur and Melide causeway (a 30-minute walk / 4-minute drive) or escape to the UNESCO-listed Monte San Giorgio or Monte Brè, which are both a 30-minute drive away.
