Localisation

Set in the peaceful mountain village of Brè sopra Lugano, this property enjoys a quiet setting with panoramic views stretching towards Monte Rosa. Brè is ideal for nature lovers, with several scenic hiking and walking routes nearby. Popular excursions include Monte Boglia, Gandria, Cureggia, and trails descending towards Lugano. During the opening season of the funicular, guests can also enjoy panoramic dining at Vetta Restaurant and Osteria Funicolare at Monte Brè, around a 30-minute walk from the village. Within the village itself, guests will find two restaurants: Salotto BRÈ Restaurant in the town centre and Grotto Castagneto nestled in the woods.

Please note that there are no grocery stores in the village, so we recommend shopping before continuing up to Brè. The nearest supermarkets are located at the foot of the mountain in Cassarate and Viganello. Lake Lugano, Parco Ciani, and lakeside attractions can all be reached within a 20-minute drive, while Lido San Domenico and San Michele Park are approximately 15 minutes away by car.

The nearest bus stop is 750 metres from the apartment (around a 14-minute uphill walk). Lugano Airport is a 30-minute drive away, while Milan Malpensa International Airport can be reached in approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by car.
