Whether you are in Lugano for work or pleasure, this airy, 9th-floor apartment (with lift) makes the ideal option for discovering this fascinating city. The contemporary apartment can sleep up to 4 people and offers panoramic views over Lake Lugano to the mountains beyond.

The airy living area has a comfortable sofa, a flat-screen TV and dining table. The dining table is next to large windows which look out over the lake. Guests can relax on the private balcony and soak up the spectacular scenery. Back inside, the smart modern kitchen adjoins the seating area. The kitchen is well-equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and Nespresso coffee machine.

Localisation
Lugano is in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland and combines the best of both cultures. This heritage is celebrated at MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (12-minute walk). There is plenty for you to enjoy during your stay, and the apartment’s central location makes it very easy to explore the city on foot.

A day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must. Lugano Centrale ferry terminal is only a 14-minute walk from the apartment. Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake, is close by. Another favourite is Piazza Riforma (12-minute walk), the heart of the city. It is a beautiful square lined with excellent restaurants and cafés.

For self-catering, there are many excellent food shops in the city, as well as the farmers market on Tuesday and Friday in Via Carducci (15-minute walk).

The closest international airports are in Italy – Milan Malpensa, 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20-minute journey.
