This chic, two-bedroom retreat offers everything you need for a carefree self-catered stay on Lake Lugano. The living area opens onto a private terrace with panoramic lake and mountain views, while the fully equipped open kitchen includes a coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, toaster, electric kettle, fridge, induction hob, and even a raclette set for a proper Swiss evening in. Inside the apartment, a Smart TV and a laptop-friendly workspace complete the practical amenities. Guests also have access to the building’s heated indoor shared pool, sauna, gym, and table tennis table, as well as a fenced shared garden leading directly to the lake.
Four sun loungers are stored in the apartment’s private cellar.

The apartment is right on the shore of Lake Lugano in Capo Lago, a 5-minute walk from the waterfront, cafés and a lakeside park, with a few restaurants and bars close by. The Lido di Riva San Vitale, rated among Switzerland’s most beautiful lidos, and the Fornaci di Riva San Vitale, a restored 19th-century brick kiln site now used as a cultural and ceramics centre, are both nearby. The Monte Generoso cogwheel railway departs from Capolago station, a short walk away, climbing to panoramic views over the Alps and the lakes. Boats from Capo Lago reach Morcote, voted Switzerland’s most beautiful village, and the city of Lugano, both within around 15 to 20 minutes. Monte San Giorgio, a UNESCO World Heritage fossil site with a museum in Meride, is about a 10-minute drive, and Mendrisio, known for its wine cellars and outlet shopping, is around 15 minutes away. Ticino’s wine region, known for Merlot, is a 20 to 30-minute drive. Lugano Airport is approximately a 30-minute drive.
